Should we be happy about this news? Courtney Cox Arquette and husband David Arquette have signed on to reprise their roles reporter Gale Weathers and Deputy Dewey Riley in the fourth installment of the Scream saga. Now, Scream was good, maybe even great. Scream 2, not bad. Scream 3: bad.

Why make a fourth? The series is trying to be like Friday the 13th, or more recently, Saw, and is attempting to recapture it’s crown atop the horror genre. Hopes are that the original team behind Scream will all be on board.

As a series, do you think Scream is outdated, or timeless?

This is the video of Michael Jackson from the famous Pepsi commercial where Michael’s head catches on fire, posted on the Us weekly website.  It is said that this was the beginning of his addiction to pills and painkillers, and perhaps one of his first times getting surgery.Very scary and sad to watch as an MJ fan.

On a brighter note, Michael Jackson albums are flying off the shelves, and rightfully so. Since his death, Michael Jackson has sold 2.3 million albums in the U.S. alone. We hope more albums sell, and we all appreciate him for what he gave us: his music, and his love.

Dave Chappelle staged an impromptu free in downtown Portland, Oregon yesterday. Message spread quickly through twitter and word of mouth that Chapelle would be doing a free show, at 1:00 am he arrived at Pioneer Courthouse square to perform. Chappelle anticipated a few hundred people would arrive, but was greeted by thousands. Chappelle, who has been away from the spotlight for sometime, performed for an hour before leaving.

Is this the start of his comeback?

Whitney’s back!!! Almost….Whitney Houston’s new album, I Look To you, has been set for release September 1st. Also, the 45 year old songstress will be performing live at Good Morning America’s fall concert series. This is her first album in seven years. Hope it’s good! We need some good music nowadays.

We shouldn’t joke about that, but she may actually have a good reason! NBA star Richard Jefferson (who was recently traded from the New Jersey Nets to the San Antonio Spurs) has dumped his fiancé, Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols the day before the wedding ! Yikes!!

We hope she doesn’t know where you hide the gun! The wedding was said to be costing 2 million dollars, and Jefferson called to cancel just two hours before the ceremony! We don’t know what went on at the bachelor party, but it must have been good!

When it’s working, milk it. Or in this case, breast milk it? Renee Zellweger will reprise her role as Bridget Jones in a new movie.  In this third installment of the series, 40 year old Bridget will be trying to have a baby to complete her life….we hope.

Can you believe they’re making a third?

Last weekends number one movie, Bruno, isn’t being as well recieved overseas as it is (if it is) in North America. In Britain, people under the age of 18 are not allowed to see the movie at all, so Universal pictures U.K. is releasing a slightly edited version of the movie. The “cleaner” version of Bruno runs about 2 minutes sjorter than the original, and hopefully will do as well there as it did here.

Newly single Tony Romo has a new Funny or Die video poking fun at his many endorsements. Pretty sure this was filmed before his recent breakup with Jessica Simpson, but we hope he keeps his sense of humor, even though he’s dumped the joke.

Alright, short and sweet. ust two weeks after announcing his split from his wife, Jon Gosselin (from Jon & Kate plus 8 ) is supposedly engaged to the girl he’s been dating, who we hear is a 22 year old who’s been arrested 2 times and may be a lesbian. He’s also coming out with a new clothing line with Christian Audigier, the creator of Ed Hardy. That’s all you get because, again, we hate Jon Gosselin.

Mr. Angelina Jolie himself will be on the next covered of Wired magazine, the magazine that reports on how technology affects culture, the economy, and  of course, politics. Sounds cool, no? Well if it wasn’t before it is now! A Bradd Pitt endorsement could make Carrot top seem cool…..maybe.

71 year old actor Robert Redford has married his longtime girlfriend Sibylle Szaggars, 51. The couple married Saturday in a small ceremony in Germany at the Louis C. Jacob Hotel with 30 close friend and family in attendance. This is Redfords second marriage, and he has been dating Szaggars since 1996. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Redford!

Are movies getting better or what? Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, the new installment in the Harry Potter series, opened big last night pulling in $20,000,000 (let me repeat that for the peasants: twenty million dollars) which is the best Wednesday midnight opening of all time! The wizard and crew beat out former record holder The Dark Knight, which we all know went on to make over a billion dollars worldwide.
