Comic book lovers and cartoon lovers unite!

Legendary animation and entertainment powerhouse Walt Disney is set to buy the worlds most famous comic book house, Marvel Comics, for a reported $4 billion dollars!!!!!!

This is big!

The deal would add characters like Iron Man, Spider-man, The incredible Hulk and all the other very successful Marvel characters to the Disney franchise! The purchase is odd at this time of economical struggle, but the deal has already been approved by both companies board of directors and will be out through in the near future.

We don’t really want to get into the money aspect, but the deal is looking great for any Marvel shareholders (after the announcement, prices for Marvel stock went up) and Disney will be able to profit from already enormous film and television franchises.

Marvel Comics has over 5,000 characters, and their following is enormous around the world. This will also give Disney a lot more exposure to the young male demographic which they have lost touch with in recent years. Disney has had super success with animated features and real life shows and films, including Hannah Montana and the High School Musical franchises. Disney seems to be timeless and they have now added a more adult, adventurous side with Marvel.

We hope Disney doesn’t ruin our favorite Marvel franchises!

Megan Fox has scored another magazine cover (that’s surprising).

The over exposed movie star proves there is still more to learn about her, when she graces the cover of October’s women bible, Cosmopolitan.

Inside, Fox dishes on sex (surprise), talks threesomes (big surprise), and claims she can count the number of men she has slept with on one hand (actually surprised!).

But where will she go?

“Actress” and reality TV star Audrina Patridge says she will be saying farewell to The Hills after this season.

Patridge, who will have been on the show for the entire five seasons, is looking to get back to her acting roots, which is why she moved out to LA in the first place. “I moved to Los Angeles to be an actress, and before I got onto The Hills, I was going to auditions and castings,” she said.

Sources close to the 24 year old say that she was a bit hurt when MTV chose Kristin Cavallari to be the new focal point of the show (replacing Lauren Conrad) and not her.Rumors are still swirling that she will be appearing in her own reality show next year, The Audrina Show. I guess reality TV IS what she considers acting.

We’ll see how this turns out!

Rapper Jay-Z is a charitable man and a die hard New Yorker, so it comes as no surprise that the rapper will be holding a September 11th benefit concert in New York City.

Jay-Z is scheduled to perform in a concert called “Answer the Call”, which will benefit families of the New York City fire and police men and women who were killed during the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of September 11th. The concert will be on September 11th and held at Madison Square Garden.

Jay-Z’s concerts are alwasy good and often have surprise musical guests, so be prepared for something great!

Twi-hards have something new to smile about.

Taylor Lautner, on of the stars in the Twilight franchise, will be on the cover of next months Teen Vogue magazine.

The 17 year old actor is promoting the new movie in the series, Twilight: New Moon, and gave an in depth interview where he speaks about Selena Gomez and their rumored romance!

He also mentions some of his future goals, and says he would love to do a film with Denzel Washington, and also lists Matt Damon and Brad Pitt as actors he would love to work with.
