Comic book lovers and cartoon lovers unite!

Legendary animation and entertainment powerhouse Walt Disney is set to buy the worlds most famous comic book house, Marvel Comics, for a reported $4 billion dollars!!!!!!

This is big!

The deal would add characters like Iron Man, Spider-man, The incredible Hulk and all the other very successful Marvel characters to the Disney franchise! The purchase is odd at this time of economical struggle, but the deal has already been approved by both companies board of directors and will be out through in the near future.

We don’t really want to get into the money aspect, but the deal is looking great for any Marvel shareholders (after the announcement, prices for Marvel stock went up) and Disney will be able to profit from already enormous film and television franchises.

Marvel Comics has over 5,000 characters, and their following is enormous around the world. This will also give Disney a lot more exposure to the young male demographic which they have lost touch with in recent years. Disney has had super success with animated features and real life shows and films, including Hannah Montana and the High School Musical franchises. Disney seems to be timeless and they have now added a more adult, adventurous side with Marvel.

We hope Disney doesn’t ruin our favorite Marvel franchises!

Megan Fox has scored another magazine cover (that’s surprising).

The over exposed movie star proves there is still more to learn about her, when she graces the cover of October’s women bible, Cosmopolitan.

Inside, Fox dishes on sex (surprise), talks threesomes (big surprise), and claims she can count the number of men she has slept with on one hand (actually surprised!).

But where will she go?

“Actress” and reality TV star Audrina Patridge says she will be saying farewell to The Hills after this season.

Patridge, who will have been on the show for the entire five seasons, is looking to get back to her acting roots, which is why she moved out to LA in the first place. “I moved to Los Angeles to be an actress, and before I got onto The Hills, I was going to auditions and castings,” she said.

Sources close to the 24 year old say that she was a bit hurt when MTV chose Kristin Cavallari to be the new focal point of the show (replacing Lauren Conrad) and not her.Rumors are still swirling that she will be appearing in her own reality show next year, The Audrina Show. I guess reality TV IS what she considers acting.

We’ll see how this turns out!

Rapper Jay-Z is a charitable man and a die hard New Yorker, so it comes as no surprise that the rapper will be holding a September 11th benefit concert in New York City.

Jay-Z is scheduled to perform in a concert called “Answer the Call”, which will benefit families of the New York City fire and police men and women who were killed during the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of September 11th. The concert will be on September 11th and held at Madison Square Garden.

Jay-Z’s concerts are alwasy good and often have surprise musical guests, so be prepared for something great!

Twi-hards have something new to smile about.

Taylor Lautner, on of the stars in the Twilight franchise, will be on the cover of next months Teen Vogue magazine.

The 17 year old actor is promoting the new movie in the series, Twilight: New Moon, and gave an in depth interview where he speaks about Selena Gomez and their rumored romance!

He also mentions some of his future goals, and says he would love to do a film with Denzel Washington, and also lists Matt Damon and Brad Pitt as actors he would love to work with.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo ended their three year relationship earlier this past summer, but after being spotted together, sources are claiming the two “stars” are working out.

Cool.

Lachey and Minnillo were spotted making out hard at The Dime, in LA. They arrived seperately and were there with a few mutual friends, but then ended up in a booth together trying to lick each other’s tonsils. The two reportedly left together as well.

So either they’re back on, or they can blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-alcohol!

Former president of The United States George W. Bush has made a lot of mistakes in his life, but Jenna Bush is NOT one of them!

The former presidents 27 year old daughter will now be a correspondent for the Today Show, and will contribute monthly segments to the program.

She currently is a teacher in Maryland, and goes by her married name, Jenna Bush Hager. Since she is a teacher, she will most likely speak on education when she appears on the Today Show.

Hollywood is tweeting their sorrows away in regards to DJ A.M.

After his sudden passing on Friday, DJ A.M. has been the topic of may a tweets on twitter. Celebrities like Paris Hilton, Diddy, Ashton & Demi Kutcher, Danny Masterson, Lindsay Lohan and more have been sending their condolences to the DJ’s family and friends.

Adam “DJ A.M.” Goldstein  died Friday of an apparent drug overdose. He was 36.

DJ A.M. is single handedly responsible for any fame that other pop culture DJ’s receive, as he was the first to cross the lines from DJ, to star in modern day Hollywood. He made dj’ing cool, opened a few nightclubs which quickly became Hollywood hotspots, and dated a slew of Hollywood starlets, including Mandy Moore and Nicole Richie. He had a past drug problem, which he overcame, but many feel that his recent breakup from girlfriend Hayley Wood was what triggered a relapse. Toxicology reports to determine what killed him will take weeks to finished.

In the meantime, he will be missed, and rock band Blink 182, whose drummer Travis Barker was with A.M. in a near fatal plane accident, gave the following tribute at their concert Saturday night.

Director Spike Lee has worked for Michael Jackson in the past, and decided he would do one more ob for the fallen king of pop.

Lee held a Michael “King of Pop” Jackson birthday bash in Brooklyn park, a 15 acre spread in Brooklyn, New York. Thousands attended the event, despite the rain, which was held outside from noon to five. Jackson would have turned 51 Saturday, so many of the fans who gathered came to the event wearing white gloves, fedora’s, and red leather jackets to commemorate the king of pops many fashion trends. They danced in the rain and sang their favorite hits.

Lee directed two video’s for Michael’s 1996 hit “They Don’t Care About Us”.

Also, in Mexico City, thousands gathered in an attempt to break the Guinness world record for most people dancing to the Michael Jackson hit Thriller in one place. The previous record was 242, but they attempted to have over 12,000 people!That is proof that Jackson touched the lives of so many, and that he will never be forgotten.

Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo celebrated the joy’s of giving life and got some gifts at her baby shower yesterday.

The shower was hosted by her Grey’s Anatomy co-star and friend Katherine Heigl, and was attended by her close friends.

Guests included Ellen’s husband Chris Ivery, actresses Kate Walsh and Sandra Oh, and Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart, who are still feeling the backlash from their nude tape scandal.

Carrie Underwood is arguably the best singer to come out of American idol, and has enjoyed huge success on the country charts.

The 26 year old singer decided to share some of that by donating musical instruments to her old high school in her hometown of Checotah, Oklahoma.

Underwood donated over $117,000 in music instruments to Checotah High School on Friday, and also appeared as a surprise guest speaker and sang her song “So Small” in a duet with a fifth grader.

“I can think of nothing better than to share the gift of music with the students in my hometown. It’s so great to be able to give back in a way that can truly better the lives of these kids and help create dreams and opportunities” said the singer.

Kim Kardashian is the next cover girl for YRBMagazine, and is sporting an intense old school bowl cut and makeup to match.

The reality star, who may or may not be rekindling her love with NFL player Reggie Bush, wrote on her blog saying “This has got to be one of the most unique shoots I’ve ever done! Not sure I’ll ever go for a permanent short cut, but it definitely works for this shoot.”

We say she looks like she’s a vampire queen in True Blood or a character in The Matrix Reloaded.
