Seriously, when you have the dough, anything is possible; and I admire the ones who don’t only waste their money on cars and hoes, but who also sometimes spend it diligently.

So the award of the day for this goes out to John Travolta, who flew is own Boeing 707 to Haiti yesterday with 4 tons of medical supplies, a team of doctors and (of course, we should have guessed it) a team of scientologist priests to (I guess) help save souls.

Well, who cares if his church has ulterior motives; there are lives to be saved. Go Johnny-boy!

Q.: How do you know an artist is broke?

A.: When they borrow your (expensive) clothes and fail, on purpose, to return them.

Unfortunately aspiring designer Laura Dawson learned the hard away.

Ms. Dawson, who lent several pieces of her upcoming collection to former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland, said the artist never returned them and although she tried to contact her by leaving her management team several messages, she never received a phone call back.

Poor, poor Laura.  Moral of this story is: do not lend clothes to an artist who’s broke, especially when you don’t know when they’ll feel like going on a shopping spree that they just don’t have the money for…

Now do they do it hoping to get a PeTA fanatic to throw BLOODY-RED paint at them while walking the red carpet just because they’re media attention whores?  well, I guess they’re the only ones with the answer to that.

Stripper Amber Rose and depressed boyfriend Kanye West were criticized by PeTA’s supporters while they were in Paris for the Fashion Week, wearing real fur everywhere they went.

I don’t know if it’s the Hills, the plastic surgery or the whole Speidi-concept thing, but I think the world is biased when it comes to judge Heidi Montag’s art (her music).  So much that she sold only 658 albums in the whole entire United States of America.

I don’t know, I thought her single Twisted is pretty good… Maybe not the best vocals or lyrics, but I kinda like it. Judge for yourself:

Well, Russell Brand is a smart man!  Worried that his girlfriend Katy Perry would get snatched away from him, Brand decided it was time to put a ring on it.  It’s a Il Cielo restaurant in Beverly Hills that the couple held their engagement party with about 50 guests, including Katy’s mother.

In an ultimate effort to help the people in Haiti, John Travolta has chartered one of his own planes to fly supplies and medical staff to the island:

“I have arranged for a plane to take down some volunteer ministers and some supplies and some medics.  My church has also arranged for 80 medicos and 33 volunteers to go down. I hope that inspires others as well. It’s needed.”

Other celebrities are helping out the cause as  well; Sandra Bullock donated $1M while George Clooney and Wyclef Jean will co-host a telethon on MTV on January 22nd.

YÉLÉ Foundation’s integrity was questioned by the Washington Post, but after audit and experts reviewing the foundation’s books, no fault was found and the funds were proven to be administered the way they were supposed to.

Apparently things aren’t going too well between actor Ryan Philippe and his girlfriend for 3 years Abbie Cornish, especially since she came back from Vancouver where she spent quite a long amount of time shooting some movie of which we don’t even know the name..  They’ve been arguing ever since she came back.  Do we smell the end of this item?

Tiger Woods, although he is a cheat and a liar, is still a very generous person.

He offered to send out a cargo plane carrying a mobile health clinic to help out in Haiti, as all hospitals and clinics are inoperable in Port-Au-Prince after a magnitude 7.0 earthquake hit the island last Tuesday.  The Red Cross declared today that no less than 50 000 people have died, and they are still counting.

The Jolie-Pitt foundation will send $1M to help out, as Ben Stiller and Tea Leoni, UNICEF ambassador, plan on going on sight in the next few days.  Wyclef Jean’s Yele foundation has started a fundraiser; people can donate $5 by texting YELE at 501501, and they can donate up to 5 times.    It is also possible to donate $10 to the Red Cross by texting HAITI to the number 90999, or to 45678 for people living in Canada.

Our heart goes out to all the people touched by this tragedy.
