Celebrities’ AKAs

Here’s something fun about some celebrities.  Sometimes even when their names sound real, they’re only stage names:

- Clay Aiken Clayton Holmes Grissom

- Dido Florian Cloud De Bounevialle Armstrong

- Erykah Badu Erica Wright

- P!nk Alecia Moore

- Gene Simmons Chaim Witz

- Portia De Rossi Amanda Lee Rogers

Even the anchor Larry King isn’t using his real last name; his name is Larry Ziegler.

Clay Aiken is coming out

Clay Aiken is finally admitting to what everyone knew: he is gay.

The new father apparently spilled the beans to People magazine, set to come out in a few weeks.  But perezhilton.com did a great job at putting his hands on the front page of People’s next issue before it’s even out yet.

I’m sure that now that he’s out, he’ll get much less attention from the paparazzi and lot more dates.

Clay Aiken is a father!

New parents Clay Aiken & Jaymes Foster

Publicity stunt or a way of postponing the coming-out of the closet?

Clay Aiken, 29 and 50 year-old close friend / music producer Jaymes Foster (sister of music mogul David Foster) have a son, Parker Foster Aiken, born this morning in North Carolina at 8:08 am, healthy and weighing 6 lbs, 2 oz.

Clay and Jaymes met on the set of American Idol, season 2, during which Clay ended in 2nd place.  Jaymes Foster continued to work with him after the show and produced his albums.  They also developped a tight friendship, but denied having an affair.  Clay Aiken’s sexual orientation has been questionned many times, but he always remained silent about it.
The baby was conceived through artificial insemination and David Foster’s rep confirmed that Clay and Jaymes would raise their child together.
