Ellen DeGeneres is expanding her relationship with Warner Brothers Television Group, having signed a multi-year exclusive deal with the company.
DeGeneres and her company, A Very Good Production, will develop and serve as executive producer on TV projects with different divisions of WBTVG, which include scripted primetime shows, scripted and unscripted broadcast and cable series, and syndicated programming. She’ll even have have a first -look priority deal on social media and other digital gaming ideas.
Ellen said:
“I’m so happy to be expanding my relationship with Warner Bros. It’s kind of becoming a family affair. My brother works on the lot and fingers crossed, my mother’s up for the role of Charlie Sheen’s love interest on ‘Two And A Half Men,’ So this is really working out.”
The talk show host also just named former President of Original Programming and Development at Comedy Central, Lauren Corrao, as the President of A Very Good Production.
Corrao said:
“Ellen is an inspiration and a pioneer both personally and professionally and I’ve always been a huge fan of hers. I feel incredibly lucky to be charged with capturing her brand as a producer and building this company together from the ground up.”
