Kanye West went home with both Hip Hop/Rap Artist and Hip Hop/Rap Album of the year awards, as Taylor Swift and Brad Paisley won for Country Artists.
Singer/songwriter/producer/actress Alicia Keys has five nominations for the upcoming 2008 American Music Awards, including for artist of the year and favorite female artist in both the pop/rock and soul/R&B.
The event, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will be held on November 23rd at the California Nokia Theater, where Taylor Swift, Rihanna and the Pussycat Dolls are scheduled to perform.
Alicia Keys joined En Vogue, SWV, and the remaining members of TLC at the BET Awards show last night. The one girl from SWV didn’t look too happy sharing the stage with Alicia. That’s probably because Alicia still has talent. And SWV had one or two really good songs.
