Ashlee Simpson just had to give her opinion about what people think of her sister being such a fatso.  Today we could read on her (boring) blog:

“Since when did a woman’s weight become newsworthy? (…) I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister’s weight. (…) All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you’re a celebrity, there shouldn’t be a different standard. (…) How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size two figure? ”

One thing she doesn’t seem to get: Jessica Simpson is NOT a size 2.  Well not anymore, anyway.  How long has it been since you last saw your sister, Ash?

Plus it’s such a hypocritical thing to say from someone who once got a nose job…

Okay, maybe he just got married a little while ago to Ashlee Simpson.  And yes, they did have their first baby, Mowgli,  a couple months ago.  But the man needs to stop frontin’ and come out the closet!

Geez, look at him!  If there was any doubt about Pete Wentz’s orientation before (not that there’s anything wrong with being gay), there are none now.

Both these couples celebrated New Year in Las Vegas except in different night clubs;

Nick Lachey and girlfriend Vanessa Minillo were partying hard at LIV while Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz where the official hosts for the New Year’s Eve party at Pure.

Paris Hilton on the other hand was celebrating on the other side of the globe, with Aussie Olympic gold medalist Stephanie Rice, at the Piano Room in Kings Cross, Australia.  The heiress was apparently paid over 600K for her two hour appearance in the night club.

A good way to start the year!

Update November 20th 2008 Ashlee gave birth to a beautiful baby boy they named Bronx Mowgli Wentz (funny! his initials are BMW…)  The little man weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces and was born 20 ½ inches long.

Some tabloids came out with a story saying Ashlee Simpson had given birth somwhere between Saturday night and Sunday  morning but her rep denied the whole thing, saying that miss Simpson was well and very much pregnant.

Simpson and Fall Out Boyfriend Pete Wentz are still waiting on their little bundle of joy to come out.

According to their baby registry, the Wentzs are having a baby boy. At least, that’s what CelebTV says.

They reportedly stopped at Petit Tresor and last month to prep for the impending birth and everything on their list is said to be blue.

Congrats to them. I hope they don’t name him Pete Jr.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz lied about their honeymoon. Who knew that they’d try to throw us off?

They said that they were noshing on some DiGiorno’s pizza with inflatable palm trees in their basement. Pete says he was joking, but the couple actually spent their honeymoon basking in the sun in the Caribbean.

The “pregnant” singer was frolicking on the beach and in the water with her new hubby over the weekend. I didn’t see a bump, but that’s just me.

The jury is still out on a confirmation of her pregnancy, though.

Ellen asked Ashlee straight up if she’s pregnant, to which she responded, “Well, that has been going on for quite a while. That is definitely something that I choose personally not to discuss except for the fact that maybe….”

Maybe? That’s a yes or no question. It’s simple enough. I guess time will tell. For now, the bump watch is on!

Pete Wentz is calling the rumors of his fiance Ashlee Simpson being pregnant, a witch hunt.

When the rumors started circulating that Ashlee Simpson was pregnant, right after he proposed, it made it sound like it was a shotgun wedding to some.

Pete wanted to make sure he cleared the air and said that they are engaged and happy…and that’s it.

Their reps have confirmed the good news!
