According to its Islamic opposition party, the Malasyan government should cancel Avril Lavigne’s concert  scheduled on August 29 in Kuala Lumpur, where she should start her month-long tour in Asia.

Kamarulzaman Mohamed, an official of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic party, told the media: “it is considered too sexy for us. … It’s not good for viewers in Malaysia. We don’t want our people, our teenagers, influenced by their performance. We want clean artists, artists that are good role models.”
