It’s been confirmed by her lawyer that Rihanna will be subpoenaed to testify against Chris Brown on June 22nd.

“The District Attorney has advised me that she will be subpoenaed to testify. I will accept on her behalf. She will appear in court, and if asked to testify, she will do so.
Rihanna is doing fine. She’s monitoring closely the proceedings of this case. She is continuing with her career and moving on with her life and doing great.”

If convicted, Brown could spend up to 4 years in prison.

Both Rihanna and Lady GaGa confirmed to the media that they weren’t responsible for the Silly Boy song, although it was on Kanye West’s official website.

So if it wasn’t her, what is she planning to get back at Chris?

Well, well, well.  Either Rihanna tried to upstage Cassie’s titi-pics, or she’s got an ex-boyfriend trying real hard to get back at her for ruining his career by calling the cops on him after he whooped her ass.

Ever wondered why Rihanna spends so much time in Barbados?  The answer is simple: she’s backin her country to avoid being subpoena’ed by the LA court, which would force her to testify against Chris Brown.

I’m guessing that the hottie we’ve seen her wit is also a motive for her to be staying longer in her homeland.

Ike Turner Chris Brown was back in court today, and he pleaded not guilty to the charges against him, i.e “assault” and “making criminal threats”.

Rihanna wasn’t there but her lawyer was kind enough to answer all the reporters questions, his bottomline being that RiRi wants it to be over quickly, and doesn’t want to testify but will cooperate if ordered to.

People say Rihanna took a break from boyfriend/abuser Chris Brown because her label threatened to drop her if she got back with him (gotta save the face, right?)

And so here she is, looking for a new place in Hollywood Hills.  She does look better and healthy.  A tad sad maybe?

Apparently Rihanna came back on her decision to take Chris Brown back.  Well everyone had their two cents to put in it, even Oprah.

Well she’s probably finally listening to something/someone else than her “heart”, i.e her agent maybe?  Taking back someone who beats you to a pulp after a couple weeks does look bad.

Well, seems like Rihanna, 21, discovered a 3 page-long text message on 19 year-old Chris Brown’s phone, and apparently it was very explicit, and rumors said it happened to be from Brown’s agent, Tina Davis, 40.

Tina Davis, old enough to be Chris’s mom, issued a statement only 24 hrs after these rumors surfaced:

“The relationship between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown is that of manager and client. There has never been any other relationship. The rumors in circulation are false. There are no emails between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown of the type which have been described in media reports.

If the source of the false rumors is identified, legal action will be taken. Given the nature of the legal issues affecting Mr. Brown, Ms. Davis will not be making any further statements.”

Ouch!  I mean there had been many rumors in the past about Brown having an affair with her as early as at the age of 16.  And although Davis denies the whole thing, it all makes perfect sense…

Chris Brown (seen up here with his attorney Mark Geragos) was officially charged with “criminal threats” and “assault likely to cause bodily harm”.

Although the couple was together working on their relationship this past week end, he was still in court facing these accusations for allegedly assaulting Rihanna, named Robyn F. in the court’s documents for confidentiality purposes (a bit too late for that, don’t you think?)

According to TMZ, these shocking details from her statement to the police were revealed in court today:

“FOX 11 in L.A. obtained LAPD detectives notes from a search warrant in the case. According to the notes, Rihanna read a three-page text message on Brown’s phone from a woman. An argument ensued and Brown allegedly tried forcing Rihanna out of the car but couldn’t because she was wearing her seat belt. Brown then allegedly shoved Rihanna’s head against the passenger window.

When Rihanna turned to face him, Brown punched her, then continued punching her while driving, according to the detective’s notes. Blood spattered all over Rihanna’s clothing and in the interior of the car. Her mouth was filled with blood. Brown allegedly told Rihanna, “I’m going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see.”

Rihanna called her assistant and left a message saying, “I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there.”Brown then replied, “You just did the stupidest thing ever. I’m going to kill you.”
According to the report, Brown continued to punch Rihanna, bit her on her ear, her fingers and put her in a headlock — she almost lost consciousness.”

The Run it singer, who hasn’t entered his plea yet, faces over 4 years in prison.

Here’s Kanye West’s two cents about Chris Brown and Rihanna before VH1 edited it from his portion of  Storytellers:

“Can’t we give Chris a break? … I know I make mistakes in life.  Michael Jackson, amazing. Michael Phelps, amazing … He’s a real f—in’ person; he makes mistakes.” He was referring to the Phelp’s recent bong scandal.

Then Kanye followed up with his defense of O.J.:

“O.J. Simpson, amazing. Is he not? What he did, when he did, what he did. Was he not amazing though?”

Hmmm. I don’t think the world is ready for this kind of comments yet, Kanye.

Rihanna forgave Chris Brown and apparently the couple is back together.

They were spotted spending time in one of Diddy’s homes in Miami, Florida.  Chris Brown was photographed jet skiing and having fun.

According to a close source the couple is trying to work things out and Rihanna refuses to press charges.

For those who wondered what Rihanna (who turns 21 today) looked like after Chris Brown had mistaken her for his punching bag, well TMZ got them their answer.

Here we can see all the bruises on her swollen and bloodied face, showing that what happened last February 9th wasn’t just a boyfriend shaking some sense into his girl.

LAPD issued a statement claiming they are now investigating on who sold released the picture to the media.
