The court battle between supermodelmom Christie Brinkley and porn enthusiast Peter Cook rages on!

In day four of the court proceedings, the court heard from Stephen Herman, a court appointed psychiatrist. He recommended that Christie head to therapy due to her decisions with men:

“She needs to start working on therapy issues relating to her parenting…maybe her choice of male figures…certain motivations that she had herself that can get her into trouble.”

The psychiatrist interviewed Christie, Peter, and the kids and came to the conclusion that Christie should have custody of the children, due to Peter’s “poor judgment.”

I bet that was music to her ears as she sat there looking like a librarian.

Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook’s upcoming divorce trial is going to be made public!

Good, cuz we love us some juicy gossip! But on the other hand, it can’t be good for the kids sake. Christie has even invited her children to come to the proceedings and she’s confident that all of the details will come out in the wash.

Cook’s lawyer, Norman Sheresky, expressed disappointment and admonished Brinkley for pushing to keep the trial open.

“Obviously, like any father, Peter is disappointed Christie Brinkley has invited their children to attend the divorce trial,” said Sheresky. “Why would anyone be happy about that? It’s putting herself in front of her children.

And then the dumbest thing happened…Christie read this statement: “I still remain hopeful that these matters can be resolved privately.”

Wait, what? This does not compute!
