How cute!    Here is Harlow, walking towards her proud mommy, Nicole Richie. From her walking you can tell she just started a few days ago.  They’re just adorable!

Well, Joel Madden didn’t lie: Nicole Richie and him are expecting.  And she can’t hide it anymore!

Joel Madden made it official on Good Charlotte’s blog; him and his girlfriend Nicole Richie are expecting again:

“What’s better than winning an Oscar? I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister! God has truly blessed my family. Hope your all feeling as good as i am right now………”

Their first daughter Harlow was born January 12, 2008.

While Nicole Richie worked hard to lose her babyweight after giving birth to baby Harlow, her baby daddy, Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden, has done nothing but gaining weight.

Nicole decided to take the matter into her own hands, according to a close source:

“Joel laughed it off at once, but Nicole became a food vigilante. She has banned fried food and most sugary items from the house. This was a true hardship for Joel because he was a junk food junkie.”

Apparently Nicole banned all carbs and fried food from their home, and got Joel running 5 miles, 3 times a week.

“After some initial grumbling, Joel turned out to be a model dieter, much to Nicole’s delight. He is raving about sleeping better and having more energy.”

At least it works!  Joel will live longer.

Nicole Richie who bragged about how she would not cook or clean back when she was leading a ‘Simple Life’ with Paris Hilton has become a domesticated mom since baby Harlow got big enough to eat solid food.

Baby daddy Joel Madden is very happy about it: “We talk about it all the time.  It’s an energy thing. I know exactly what’s going into [Harlow's] body.”  Although he feeds her most of them time, the 9-month old prefers to eat alone.

Nicole remembers the first time she cooked for her daughter: “Her first food was sweet potatoes and she loved it.  She ate the whole thing and it was all over the place – in her hair, on her nose, everywhere!”

Nicole Richie, who was convicted for DUI in July 2007, finally got her licence back.

I was doing the math and she was already 3 months pregnant when she served her 4 days in jail.  Let’s hope the alcohol education program she was sentenced to enroll in was useful.

They say our kids are 10 times worse than us parents were as children… Hopefully she can talk about it to baby Harlow when she grows up because I have a feeling she’ll be a handfull!

Nicole Richie was seen leaving her home with her daughter Harlow under her arm yelling: “we’re through!” to baby daddy Joel Madden, after he’s been flirting with newly single Mischa Barton.
During a Good Charlotte show in LA, Mischa was in front row center, dancing right in front of Joel as if she wanted to seduce him.

At the after party Paris Hilton took pictures of Joel on her cell phone while he kept staring at Mischa and smiling at her.  She apparently then sent them to Nicole who obviously went ballistic.

The next day, Nicole packed a couple bags and went to her mom’s with their baby, but decided to come back the next morning.
Couple days later she disappeared again.  That’s when she was in New York and attacked that poor fan (click here for the entire story)  Joel followed her there but they fought again, in front of the Fashion Week’s many guests.

Don’t want to be the devil’s advocate but Nicole seems to have lost it.  She claims she’s fed up but that she still loves him;  the guy crossed the whole country to find her and they would still fight.  Come on, he’s so romantic!  Anyway they seriously should seek counselling if they really want to save their relationship.

Seems like Kanye smashing a couple of cameras in LAX airport inspired  other celebs, such as Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie.

Lindsay was making her way to the Bowery Hotel in New York when she tripped on a metal barricade. She thought it was a paparazzi trying to grab her so she turned around and punched the closest one in the face. She then said to the person she was on the phone with: “Oh my God, I just hit a paparazzi!”
The cops came on the scene but no charges were pressed against Lohan.

Still in New York at the Fashion Week, a Swedish fan was trying to take a picture of her, Richie went totally nuts and jumped over the security fence towards the woman, yelling: “I’m not an animal!!!”
She then grabbed the fan’s camera and threw it on the ground.

I don’t condone what Kanye and Lindsay did, because the paparazzi were all up in their face.  In Lindsay’s case it was practically self defense as she thought a paparazzi was trying to grab her.  But Nicole had to skip a fence to hit a fan, not a paparazzi.  Come on now.

Yet another home wrecker?

Nicole Richie is furious about the fact that her fiancé/babydaddy, Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden is friends with Mary-Kate Olsen.  The 22 year-old actress was seen flirting with Joel during a celebrity dinner recently.  Worse, she went to Good Charlotte’s concert last week and was spotted visiting their tour bus after the show.

According to a close source, “he (Joel) showed her (Mary-Kate) some baby photos of Harlow (his daughter by Nicole, born last January). Joel isn’t one to lie or hide things from Nicole, so the next day he told her about it on the phone.

Nicole freaked out. Joel thought she’d respect the fact that he was trying to be honest – after all, he and Mary-Kate are just friends – but Nicole was hurt and angry. He couldn’t deal with it, so he hung up, and she kept texting him after that.”

They’ve decided to postpone their wedding.  Mary-Kate seems to be one of the reasons, among other things.  Their friends say they’re deeply in love and that if it wasn’t for these little fights, they would already be married by now.

Joel Madden isn’t ready to walk down the aisle just yet. The couple have been the source of wedding rumors for months on end.

They welcomed their first child, Harlow, in January, but have been comfortable with the way things are for now.

Joel Madden issued a statement on his website dismissing reports that they had already gotten married. But he is hoping to end all of the speculation by announcing that they currently have no plans to make the trek down the aisle.

He says, “We don’t have any plans for that right now. We’re just happy, and we’re being a family, and that’s where we’re at right now. But marriage means something different to everyone. Right now we’re really happy and we’re concentrating on our family, and that’s what is making us happy right now. We’re moving at our own pace.”

Now this is a post baby body if you ask me… check out those boobs! Christina Aguilera made her first post baby appearance yesterday to sign some CD’s. Unlike Nicole Richie she does not look like she never gave birth. Although I must say that Christina looks a bit more lively than Nicole did.  Not saying that I ever looked this good even before I had a baby, so please do not think that all post baby women should appear this way. But Christina looks good, healthy and happy, just as a new Momma should!

Check it out….here’s Nicole Richie two weeks after giving birth to Baby Harlow.  Girl looks pretty good doesn’t she. Nicole and Joel Madden were seen out last night for the first time since the baby arrived. But really most women do not look like this 2 weeks after giving birth.  And she was wearing a form fitting dress!! I wonder if Nicole will go back to her old starve herself ways now that she has had the baby? Only time and her dress size will tell.
