Katherine Heigl has never made it easy for the writers of Grey’s Anatomy to like her.

The actress, who was nominated for an Emmy for her role on the show, publicly said that she did not think she deserved the nomination because the writing for her role was not good enough. To top it all off, rumors swirled that she would be killed off the show, and her character was ALMOST killed at the end of last season.

Now back to work on Grey’s, Katherine has publicly complained about the long hours on the show and will now be taking a 5 episode hiatus from the show!

Heigl will be filming a romantic comedy called Life as We Know It during this time. Pretty sure that the movie will have long hours too Kat!
