Mary-Kate Olsen, whose attorney had requested immunity for their client after she was subpoenaed in the Ledger case, must have had a sigh of relief today.
The authorities no longer have to enforce the subpoena she was served with, which would have forced her to testify concerning the sudden death of actor Heath Ledger.
Mr. Ledger died last January after he ingested a deadly cocktail of prescription drugs. He was then shooting the latest Batman Movie, impersonating the Joker. After his masseuse discovered his body, she called Mary-Kate before and after dialing 911.
